Electronica Machine Tools Ltd. is setting up a plant in China at Suzhou, Jiangsu province, 1.5 hrs from Shanghai to manufacture CNC Wirecut EDM to cater to the China market which is 5 times the size of the market in India.

With the China plant commencing operations, the group will now have 9 manufacturing locations, 8 of which are in India, out of which one is in Nasik and the remaining 7 are in and around Pune.

Besides manufacturing EDMs and CNC Wirecut EDMs, EMTL also manufactures Injection Moulding machines for the plastic industry, in the range 50 to 330 tonnes capacity. This Plastic Machinery Division has a turnover of Rs. 10 Crores. The third division of Electronica Machine Tools is Tough Carb Division, located at Sinnar near Nasik, which is the only company in India possessing end-to-end capability in tungsten carbide processing.

Electronica Machine Tools also has a Business Growth Division. This division is in the business of creating, nurturing and growing the markets in India and overseas for a cluster of Machine Tools / machinery products generally associated with the tool room industry. Besides, handling the presale, sale and post sale service of the machine tools and injection moulding machines made by Electronica Machine Tools, this division also handles several products of imported origin from Korea, Taiwan, Finland, China etc. Focussing on growing the topline for the group by adding new product lines, business lines and new markets, this division acts as Window to the world for the group.
